Camera Fiber Link (CFL) 3 and 4


Extend Digital Camera Signals up to 1000 meters (3840 feet)

Thinklogical has developed fiber optic extenders for the Camera-Link™ standard for high performance digital cameras and frame grabbers. The CFL-3 and CFL-4 support Base and Full/Medium/Base configurations (respectively). Each extender supports serial connections as well as the camera signals. The CFL-3 utilizes 2 fibers and the CFL-4 requires 3. See cable assemblies. Both models are housed in a metallic enclosure small enough to mount easily in cramped environments. The CFL-3 and CFL-4 are available with ST, SC (standard) or LC fiber optic connectors. Now it is possible to position the camera in any setting from outdoor to manufacturing floor to hostile factory floor environments while keeping the computer secure in a controlled location.
