Picolo Tetra is a new cost effective frame grabber dedicated
to multiple-camera video surveillance applications. This
high-speed video capture board is able to acquire four real-time
image sequences in parallel.
Thanks to a high-quality hardware scaler, the Picolo series
acquire images at any format. Arbitrary cropping to a region
of interest is built-in. Picolo generates bitmaps in all popular
color formats such as RGB, YUV, planar or packed.
The Picolo series video capture boards are designed to drastically
simplify the design of video surveillance applications. System
integrators benefit from robust and easy-to-use standard connectors.
TTL I/O lines are provided for system integration. In addition,
Picolo Tetra is compatible with the MIO module, enabling
the system integrator to implement isolated inputs and outputs.
Picolo boards come with different tools. The MultiCam driver
makes easier the management of video surveillance applications.
The boards are also compatible with eVision, the Euresys image
analysis tools. eVision offers C++ and ActiveX tools to read and
record sequences of images using AVI files.
