The
Zandar Remote Panel, ZRP, is a desktop control pad that
provides the user with push button control of one or more
Zandar MultiViewers. The Panel can control up to 100 serially
attached units, including FusionPro, Predator, DX and
MX Series MultiViewers.
The ZRP has a line LCD screen,
a numeric keypad, navigation arrows and a number of
function buttons. The functions permitted depend on
the capabilities of the MultiViewer models connected.
Features
• Single touch operation for layout recall, full-screen,
audio out and alarms
• Controls multiple units - FusionPro+, Predator,
DX only
• "Lock" feature prevents accidental
use
• RS-232 or RS-422 (Multi-drop) interfaces
• External Power Supply provided
Unit Select - Should more than one
MultiViewer be connected, this button allows selection
of a particular unit for control. The user simply scrolls
through the list of connected units displayed on the
LCD screen.
Layout - Numerous layouts or presets
are built-in to each MultiViewer. Active presets are
listed on the LCD panel and the user can recall a particular
layout for display, on the unit selected, by scrolling
through the list.
Full Screen - For many applications,
a quick full screen view of a particular image is crucial.
The user simply enters the PiP number to immediately
bring that window to full size.
Audio Out - The user may select which
audio channels to monitor by first selecting the PiP
number of the unit selected and then the channels to
output. Within each PiP there are up to 4 stereo pairs
of analog audio or 4 digital channels, depending on
the unit.
Alarms - Video and Audio alarm configuration
is done via the control software provided or system
front panel. However, the user may turn on or off alarms
via this button.
Menu - The Menu system allows initial
set-up of the Zandar Remote Panel and connected MultiViewers.
Here the user enters the name, address and type of each
unit connected. Also available under the menu button
is access to the system On Screen Display. This is a
graphical display that can be brought on screen to provide
an interface for the user for further control and configuration
options. Note that not all Zandar MultiViewers support
OSD.
The FN button acts as a navigation key to return the
user to the previous selection.
