SDI, SDTI and Digital Audio Interface Controller Matrox® SDTIT is a single-slot PCI controller, designed for Windows NT video editing and server systems, that provides SDI/SDTI connectivity. By transferring compressed video and digital audio between devices in a post-production or broadcast studio, SDTI eliminates signal degradation caused by multiple compression/decompression passes in the production work flow and allows faster-than-realtime transfers of audio/video material. Matrox SDTI is a companion to the DigiSuite DTV realtime editing platform and an OEM product that interfaces with third-party editing cards and video servers. It can also be used in a stand-alone configuration as a capture/logging station to preview and transfer digital audio/video over the SDTI interface.
