DVCAM Studio Editing Player

|
The DSR-11 compact DVCAM video
recorder is equipped with i.LINK™ IEEE-1394 DV based
I/O connection, multi-voltage operation, and both NTSC and
PAL playback and recording capability (Note: VTR does not
convert NTSC/PAL system signals). The DSR-11 can record
and playback in either DVCAM or consumer DV formats, will
accommodate both standard and mini size DVCAM and DV cassettes,
and is able to be placed in either vertical or horizontal
positions.
|
The DSR-1500A incorporates the same innovative,
high standard technology featured in the DSR-2000 into a compact,
half-rack width design. The space-saving size makes the DSR-1500
ideal for such installations as in OB vehicles and with desktop
editing systems. A key feature of the DSR-1500 is its recording
and playback compatibility of consumer DV (SP mode only) in
addition to DVCAM as well as playback capability of DVCPRO
25 Mbps recordings, and its ability to automatically accommodate
all standardized cassette sizes without the need for an adapter
or changing menu settings.
|
The DSR-1600 DVCAM player, successor to
the DSR-60, offers improved jog audio, slow motion, and
editing performance. The DSR-1600 has built in jog/search
dial, multi-format playback capability of DV (SP only) and
DVCPRO25, and can accommodate all 25 Mbps cassette sizes
without the need for an adapter, or menu setting changes,
for playback. The full range of analog and digital inputs
outputs include SDI, SDTI, i.LINK, and AES/EBU digital audio,
composite , component, and s-video analog video, making
the DSR-1600 a very versatile digital video source machine.

DVCAM Video Disk Unit |
Professional DAT Recorder
|
The DSR-DR1000 is a DVCAM stream-based,
hard-disk recorder that brings new production opportunities
to the DVCAM family. This half-rack unit uses a
large capacity hard-disk drive to provide more than six
hours of DVCAM stream recording. Primarily designed for
recording and edit feeding applications, the
DSR-DR1000 takes full advantage of the benefits of disk-based
recording while maintaining the same operational feel as
a VTR. The DSR-DR1000 can simultaneously record and playback,
allowing a recording to be available immediately for play
out and other feeding purposes without interruption. An
i.LINK™ connector supports both the SBP2 protocol
for DV file transfer and the conventional i.LINK (DV) protocol
(AVC protocol). The SBP2 protocol
allows DV files on a DSR-DR1000 to be transferred to other
compatible equipment at high speed. The DSR-DR1000 also
offers the convenience of
high-quality digital jog sound, and slow motion playback
over a wide speed range. Providing unique disk-based features
at an affordable price, the DSR-DR1000 is an excellent choice
for implementing disk-based technology into production suites.
|
DISCONTINUED WITH NO REPLACEMENT. The DSR-DU1
features a compact size and low cost yet packs robust features
and functions, providing the high quality video and audio,
along with the reliability of the DVCAM format. The unit employs
a 2.5" 40GB hard disk drive that stores approx. 3 hours
of DVCAM/DV video stream. The DSR-DU1 is an ideal complementary
product aimed to enhance the DVCAM line of professional video
products, providing users with the latest work flow innovation
tool in editing and post-production technology.
By connecting the unit to compatible DVCAM shoulder-type
camcorders with the new CA-DU1 camera adapter, or hand-held
type DVCAM camcorders, both via the i.Link DV I/O connection,
the DSR-DU1 can record video and audio signals in parallel
with the tape in the camcorder, enabling the DSR-DU1 to
serve as a complementary recording device. The DSR-DU1 can
also serve as an extension to the recording time being provided
by the tape.
After shooting, content in the DSR-DU1 can be instantly
reviewed through the camera viewfinder. Indexing is also
available, enabling edit preparation even in the field.
The DSR-DU1 can then be connected to a computer and provide
2X transfer of the recorded material via SBP2 connection,
helping to avoid downtime and streamlining the editing process.
